FLINT, Michigan — A man sold a car and then stole it back from the woman who bought it on Wednesday, according to a police report.
The woman told police she bought the maroon 2003 Saturn Ion from the suspect and had the title transferred.
Later while at a gas station on North Grand Traverse Street and University Avenue at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, the man appeared and got into the car, according to the police report.
When asked to get out, the man jumped on top of the car and refused to come down, telling the woman she wasn’t leaving with his car, the victim told police.
The man then reached into the car and took the keys from the woman, according to the report.
When the woman got out to retrieve the keys, the man jumped into the car and drove off, the victim told police.
